Return...of the Radio Challenge!

Welcome! For those of you who didn't read my prior diary (aka, ALL of you!), The Radio Challenge is the super-popular feature where YOU, the reader, get to compete to show your Musical Godhood and win a cool prize! Here's how it works:

--Each week (or each week I feel like running it, heheh!) I will post a *new*, shiny, Radio Challenge. (ooh, shiny!) It will consist of a list of lines from popular songs. These songs can be of any genre, so don't think that you'll be left out if your listening tastes are a little different.

--You'll get the week to guess what song each lyric comes from. Bonus points if you can also name the artist! For example:

Lyric: (in my entry)

1) "There used to be a greying tower alone on the sea/You became the light on the dark side of me..."
2) "Sometime before the sun comes up/The radio is gonna play that song!"

Answer: (in your posted comment):
1) Kiss from a Rose, by Seal
2) Heartache Tonight, by the Eagles

--After that week's Radio Challenge has concluded, I will review the posted answers. Then I will add up the points to determine a winner. Each correct song title is worth one point, and each correct artist is worth another point. If I feel an answer is very close, I reserve the right to award a half point. However, full points will only be awarded for ENTIRELY correct answers, so please be accurate!

--The winner or winners will be announced at the beginning of my next Radio Challenge entry. As the FABULOUS PRIZE, each winner will get a plug about their blog, personally written by me, along with a posted link to their blog site. FABULOUS, I tell you, FABULOUS! This will, of course, increase traffic to your blog, and there will be much rejoicing.

--From time to time, I will actually overhear a song on the radio that I don't know. Shocking, but true! On such rare occaisions, when I am stuck for an answer and desperate to know what the song is, I will post a Bonus Question! I will give all the lyrics I can recall, and the FIRST person to post the correct song title and artist will be the winner! This lucky person, who could identify the song that stumped me, will be declared a God of Music, with all appropriate homage, etc, and forever immortalized as such in my blog! Huzzah!

Now that you know how to play...let's get it on! Read your way to my next entry to get started!

Let the games begin!
